Savannah working on the Sims game....she's building an empire and tearing it down....one computer-simulated character at a time.......learning some more reading words and some simple math while she's at it....
I've been wanting to get Dylan into Sims, it seems like it has so much to offer in the way of some fun learning, but have never been sure about which one to get...

I got the Sims 2 - there's a new version, Sims 3 (shocking, I know!) but the reviews I read weren't very good and plus I got the 2 from the Amazon marketplace (supposedly used, but it wasn't) for waaaaayyyy cheaper.
ReplyDeleteThen a friend loaned us her add-ons - Pets, Seasons etc.
Savannah is all about the decorating at the moment..she's buying up houses like some real estate mogul and doin' 'em all up.....
It's a lot of fun..very involved but lots of learning ops for sure.
WARNING: Highly addictive though...we're having *discussions* now on what's an appropriate amount of time to be spending on the computer...seems it's a loaded issue (didn't realize that until now that we're facing it...)
