I have a small globe of the city of Atlanta that was a gift to my grandfather years ago. When he passed away, I only asked for it, as I knew that Georgia was in my future. Now, it sits right beside me on the windowsill. When I need a little cheering up, I just wind it up and hear the sweet little tune of 'Georgia on my Mind'.
I would love to travel to NYC. And, you know I would love to ride in a cab very much like that one. Especially if the driver hangs his head out of the cab, slaps the door, and says, "Get out of ere, are you freakin' kiddin' me?" should anyone dare to cut us off.
Do they even do that? Am I watching too much stereotypical NYC movies? :)
Great pictures, looks like you had a lot of fun with your family. It helps when the weather co-operates.
ReplyDeleteLovin' your goodies, Mel!
