I've been working on a soul journal and Savannah decided she wanted to do one too....she's a bit further behind than I am so I got her started with the collage part while I moved on to the next step...

Then, while things were drying....we moved on to try out our new oil pastels. Oh, how I LOVE oil pastels....

Lovely! Children's art has such a lovely feel to it. It is sad we lose that. I like oil pastels to, although I think mine are a little cheap *laugh*
ReplyDeleteI know! I love her drawings and her photographs for just that reason - they're so pure..for lack of a better word. Our pastels are definitely cheap -- I could have paid almost $30 for half as many of the good ones...our $5.99 set does us just fine for now!! :)
